There are many accessories, which go with the kimono. The most essential one is the “obi” – the wide belt worn to tie and decorate the kimono. However, many of these beautiful accessories are less and less used these days. Appreciating the beautifully woven and patterned obis, we encourage using these treasures in interior decoration. We also up-cycle damaged vintage obi fabric into bags and other accessories. With a love for shibori, the Japanese art of tie-dye, we also up-cycle beautiful shibori patterned silk from vintage/antique kimono belts to be integrated in jewelry.
